Training Livery
Spaces are very occasionally available for long-term full training livery: total care and training for the horse, and total training and support for the rider/owner/handler... we call it "Cocooning" Livery!
Sara prefers to be on hand to supervise and coach owners whenever they ride, with times by mutual agreement. Whilst this degree of supervision & trainer involvement won't appeal to all horse-owners, it is invaluable for clients who need or prefer to be very well-supported in their equestrian goals - and provides a viable option for less experienced riders wishing to bring on a young or green horse.
Livery fees for our long-term liveries include lessons from Sara and support at competitions (we specialise in showing and dressage) attended by the yard - perfect for the nervous, novice or often-absent owner. We can compete your horse if you prefer. We also organise periodic clinics with external trainers, exclusively for livery clients, and there may be opportunities to borrow other horses on the yard to ride.
Medium-term training livery is available, subject to space (minimum 8 weeks). Sara accepts youngsters for handling, in-hand show preparation, riding-away after starting elsewhere, and - in particular - assessment and or top-up schooling/re-schooling for existing or potential RDA/para horses.
We do not offer DIY livery, or short training livery stints, but see our Links page for local alternatives.

Our very small, private yard has traditional wooden stables with thick straw beds, year-round turnout in carefully rotated paddocks, and a 20 x 40 arena. Clipping/trimming, rug changes, holding for vet/farrier etc are all included in livery fees.
There's a hot horse shower, but we are off-grid and try hard to be as green as possible. We have solar-powered lighting of stables and arena, and we're planning to install a loo soon, but otherwise we prioritise equine rather than human facilities - it's how we keep our livery fees so reasonable!
What we do have - shared with the neighbouring property that our land nearly wraps around - is state of the art security. All possible access sites are covered by top quality, monitored CCTV cameras, gate alarms etc.
